Job Description

To provide routine planning services to the project and shall have an impact into the planning and organization matters related to the project and have impact on the decision making of the project management.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Liaise with relevant project management, planning and cost engineers in regard to the progress of the project and monitor the implementation of the program.
2. Ensure project monitoring system is in place and functioning as per agreed standards
3. Ensure all contract requirements are accounted for and closely monitored
4. Clear assessments of actual versus planned performances is produced and problems are efficiently dealt with.
5. Get field info to report progress and update progress in programs(P3 or P5)
6. Present progress in graphical form-sketch (PowerPoint or ACAD)
i. Graph (export P3to excel)
ii. Progress indicators
7. Prepare level 3 programs
8. Prepare daily, weekly, monthly (graphs only) reports
9. Track Procurement
10. Track design status
11. Load resources ( human, cost and quantities) into program)
12. Develop bar chart program including WBS
13. Develop recovery program
14. List a line of activities including design, procurement and construction
15. Solve problems in an analytical way to achieve a plan
16. To address alternatives by what-if analysis in P3
17. To identify risks and temporary work requirements and defend your assumptions
18. Write narratives for weekly and monthly reports
19. Take off quantities and calculate durations based on output rates
20. Create and manipulate databases
21. Assist in tracking variations.
22. Develop production outputs and workability for various tasks
